Malaysia's Broad Money Growth Slows In July


(RTTNews) - Malaysia's M3 money supply expanded at a slower pace in July, data from the central bank showed Friday.
Growth in M3 or broad money was 11.6 percent year-on-year in July, compared to 12.4 percent in June. The rate of increase in M2, or intermediate money, also eased to 11.6 percent from 12.4 percent.
Narrow money supply or M1 grew at a steady pace of 14.5 percent annually. Annual reserve money growth accelerated to 56.8 percent from 37.1 percent in June.
