Spain Tourist Arrivals Rise 7.2% In July

(RTTNews) - Tourist arrivals in Spain increased from last year in July, data released by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism showed Monday.

The number of foreign tourists visiting the country increased 7.2 percent year-on-year to 7.48 million in July.
With a 32 percent rise in tourist arrivals, the Netherlands recorded the biggest annual growth during the month, followed by Switzerland with 29.2 percent and Belgium with 23.5 percent. Arrivals from Italy and Ireland advanced 17.2 percent and 11.1 percent respectively.

In the seven months ended July, international tourist arrivals grew by 7.4 percent annually to 32.27 million. The number of visitors from the Netherlands rose 25.8 percent from last year during the period, while arrivals from Belgium rose 15 percent.
