Estonian Industrial Output Rises In January

Estonia's industrial production increased from last year in January, after falling in the previous month, data released by Statistics Estonia showed Monday.
Industrial output increased 2.1 percent on an annual basis in January, recovering from the previous month's 2.6 percent decrease.
Production in the manufacturing sector climbed 5.3 percent annually, while mining and quarrying output moved up 0.3 percent. Meanwhile, there was a 15.3 percent annual fall in the production of energy products during the month.
On a working-day adjusted basis, industrial output deceased 0.5 percent from last year in January, the agency said.
On a monthly basis, industrial production increased a seasonally adjusted 2.4 percent in January, following the previous month's 0.7 percent decrease.
